Colorado Ballet Academy is proud to offer merit-based scholarships and financial assistance to fully registered students in the Ballet Program (Levels 1-8). Scholarships and financial assistance are provided to both recognize talent and create access to dance training for those students who might not otherwise be financially able to participate.
Students applying to Colorado Ballet Academy for scholarships and are awarded assistance based on merit as well as financial need. Student’s financial needs are assessed through several evaluation tools including eligibility in state school lunch programs and information from recent tax returns. Merit is assessed by the Artistic Staff. Assessed in total, the merit and financial need evaluations are combined and determine the student’s overall assistance. Assistance can range from partial to full tuition assistance. Students must apply each year prior to the start of the fall session. Auditions for new students ages 6 and above will be held each year.
Assistance is for fall and spring semesters only. Summer scholarship assistant is valid towards summer class programing only, and will not be available for camps or intensive programs. Only a limited amount of summer scholarships are available for the 8-week semester classes for those in the children's and ballet programs.
Recipients of scholarships or financial assistance are expected to present themselves in exemplary fashion. Unacceptable behavior or poor attendance will result in the immediate revocation of the scholarship or financial assistance.
