The Colorado Ballet Auxiliary proudly hosts two very special presentation programs. The main purposes of the programs are to raise funds for Colorado Ballet, to develop future audiences and to nurture an appreciation and love of the performing arts.

The Sugarplum and Alum Programs are a memorable experience for second and third grade girls and are a longstanding Denver tradition. The girls start in second grade with a season of fun, friendship and ballet appreciation. The season culminates at the Sugarplum Ball followed by an on-stage presentation at one of Colorado Ballet's magical performances of The Nutcracker. The Sugarplum Alum program continues on as a part of the Sugarplum program when the girls enter third grade. During this second year, the girls attend performances and the Sugarplum Ball. The season culminates for these third grade girls with the opportunity to actually perform on-stage in one of Colorado Ballet's performances of The Nutcracker.

The Les Petites Fleurs Program is a presentation program especially designed for girls in the third, fourth and fifth grade who have not participated in the Sugarplum program. Les Petites Fleurs encourages friendship and an appreciation of the ballet. The girls enjoy a variety of fun social events and performances. Their season culminates in an on-stage presentation at a Colorado Ballet performance.
