
Christina Schifano is from Setauket, New York. She graduated from Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program where she was trained by Edward Ellison. Christina also spent her summers training with American Ballet Theatre and Bolshoi Ballet. In 2008 she competed in Youth America Grand Prix in New York and was awarded a contract with The Washington Ballet. There she spent a year in the studio company performing in La Sylphide, Rubies, and Celts among others. In 2009 she joined the Colorado Ballet as a member of the Studio Company, before joining the company in 2011. With Colorado Ballet she has performed in Dracula, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Romeo & Juliet. She has most enjoyed performing as a villager in Transylvania in Dracula and one of the Spanish Ladies in Don Quixote.
