Colorado Ballet Auxiliary to host Balletto di Gala 2014 - Dancing With Our Stars

DENVER – Colorado Ballet Auxiliary will host the 2014 Balletto di Gala  – Dancing With Our Stars at 5:30 p.m. on April 12, 2014 at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, 1881 Curtis Street.  The event is black tie.  

The Balletto di Gala includes a night in the “Big Apple” with an evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment.  Cocktails will start at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will begin at 7 p.m.  This year’s gala will again feature an evening of dance performances from community leaders paired with Colorado Ballet professional dancers. The proceeds from Balletto di Gala will support Colorado Ballet.

“This is the third year of the Dancing With Our Stars platform and it has been a huge success,” said Gala Chair Kris McMullan.  “We have been able to feature such great community leaders at the Balletto di Gala.  The Auxiliary feels fortunate to have one of the premiere dance galas of the season that raises money for such a great cause.”

The community leader dancers include:
  • Zane Beadles, former Denver Broncos Guard
  • Carole Buyers, SVP of Investor Relations and Business Development for Boulder Brands
  • Tracy Dixon, Co-host of Country Morning KYGO Ryno and Tracy Show
  • Colleen Ferreira, 9 News Reporter
  • Reggie Rivers, Former Denver Broncos Running Back, Professional broadcaster and motivational speaker
  • Ed Venerable, President, Paragon Homes Inc.
The Balletto di Gala Chairs are Kris Kerr, Kris McMullan and Kristen Miner.  The committee includes Anne Marie Anderson, Nancy Boland, Katy Brown, Ghislaine Bruner, Cami Cooper, Kathleen Dammen, Micah D’hondt, Alyson Graves, Jill Hibbeln, Mary Frances Hummel, Monica Hustead, Kristen Keller, Sarah Schnittman and Andrea Stevens.
