Bailey Harper

Bailey Harper is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, where she began her training with the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet. She continued her education at the University of Alabama and graduated in 2009 with Honors and a B.A. in Dance and Kinesiology. After college, Bailey spent four seasons with the Montgomery Ballet. During that time she had numerous opportunities to be pushed technically and to cultivate her stage presence. In 2013 she moved to Colorado, joined the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble and enjoyed a season of performing various new and classical African Ballets. Bailey then spent two seasons with the Hannah Khan Dance Company, where Khan's avant-garde movement added another layer of technique and gave Bailey a wide range of opportunities to perform in solos, duets, and ensembles. During that time she also had the pleasure of performing in two public art projects with the world renowned Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet. Wanting to contribute more public performance art in May of 2016 Bailey produced a 45 minute two-woman collaborative show in the Marlene Yu Museum in her hometown, to a sold out audience. Currently, Bailey is performing with Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet and producing her own projects around the Denver Metro Area.
