Cynthia Giannini Gottlob was hand picked by the late Robert Joffrey dance for his Company in NYC. She danced with the Joffrey Ballet for 15 years. She
danced soloist and principal roles and worked with world renowned choreographers.She was classically trained in the Vaganova and RAD ballet syllabuses.
She danced classical, semi classical and contemporary works with the company. During a six month hiatus from the Joffrey, she performed leading roles
with the Galaxy of Stars, directed by Cynthia Gregory.Cynthia has been teaching ballet for over 8 years now and has deeply enjoyed working
with students that are interested in pursuing their highest potential.
For the past four summers Cynthia has also co directed the Joffrey Ballet School's summer intensive in Denver and New York Dance project where she has
taught and set Joffrey ballet classics on students from all over the country and abroad. Cynthia studied last summer at Central Pennsylvania Youth
Ballet's teachers workshop. CPYB is one of Americas leading ballet schools.Cynthia is also an Argentine tango dancer and performs with Parasol arts
which she co founded five years ago. Parasol Arts is non for profit company that shares it’s passion of Argentine tango through dance, music, art and
outreach.Cynthia and her partner are the current US National Argentine tango champions.
