While playing soccer internationally, Nick DiBattista sustained stress fractures to his lumbar vertebrae and, in search of an alternative to invasive surgery, Nick discovered Pilates. Six months after starting a consistent Pilate’s program he was pain free and dedicated to the teachings of Joseph Pilates. Nick holds certifications through Pilates of Cherry Creek, American Council on Exercise, National Academy of Sports Medicine, TRX group and individual training, Kettle Bell Level I, and has a United States Soccer Federation Level C coaching license. He currently also works at the Colorado Athletic Club, Pilates Plus, the YMCA, and Epic Ryde. Originally from the DC area, Nick is a graduate of James Madison University, and currently lives in the downtown Denver area. Outside of working with the ballet and teaching Pilates, Nick also coaches soccer for KIPP Collegiate academy and for the Colorado Rapids youth soccer program. Nick enjoys sharing and teaching Pilates to people of all ages and ability levels.
