Free Performance at Denver Art Museum

Performance will take place in front of new In Motion installation in Martin Plaza outside the main entrance of the Denver Art Museum's Hamilton Building

Join Colorado Ballet's dancers for a free performance in the plaza outside the Denver Art Museum on August 26.  The performance is part of the DAM's Summer of Dance! exhibit.

The performance will take place in front of In Motion: An Outdoor Installation, which was inspired by dance.  The installation was designed by Wynn Earl Buzzell Jr., lead designer at Demiurge, a local design studio.

Tour and Taste - A young professionals event

Ever wonder where the stars of Book of Mormon and The Nutcracker go when they’re not onstage? What secret passages do the actors follow to find their way on stage? Let your curiosity lead the way and experience a behind-the-scenes look at the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC)!

Join DPAC resident companies Colorado Ballet, Opera Colorado, Colorado Symphony and Denver Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday September 10 for an exclusive backstage crawl of the WHOLE complex. Enjoy brunch bites before you depart and mingle with other young arts lovers to discuss your favorite part of the tour.

  • 10 a.m. - Mimosas and Brunch Bites
  • 11 a.m. - Tours depart
  • Post-tour snacks and libations!

Subscribers, join us for this exclusive free event and get a sneak peek of several of the ballets Colorado Ballet will perform during the 16/17 season.  Stay after the brief rehearsal/demonstration for a Q&A session with Artistic Director Gil Boggs and light appetizers.  The seating is limited and RSVPs are required.  This event is for current Colorado Ballet subscribers only.  Please click here for more information on how to become a season subscriber.

Cost: $25 - performance only, $85 - dinner and performance

Colorado Ballet will host two Attitude on Santa Fe performances featuring three new ballets choreographed and performed by Colorado Ballet dancers.  The choreographers include Tracy Jones, Domenico Luciano, and Kevin Gaël Thomas.  The Attitude on September 23 will include the performance only and the Attitude on September 24 will include a three course meal and wine prior to the performance.

This will be the second season of Attitude on Santa Fe.  The performances in the first season were sold out.
