Colorado Ballet students registered for the 2017/2018 year in Levels 2 through 7 (and who are 8 years old at the time of audition) are eligible to auditions for Academy student roles in Colorado Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. The 2017 audition will take place on September 10, 2017 from 12-5 p.m.
Each program will include original solos, duets and ensemble choreography from a rotating roster of choreographers participating
in our fall and spring New Works classes with our Pre-professional Division.
The intent of these salons is to support the creation of new choreography, introduce our community to dance in an informal setting and foster creativity. These performances give our Pre-professional Division students the chance to work with a wide variety of choreographers and experience many styles and processes.
Admission at the Door is $15.

Colorado Ballet is fortunate enough to be a part of the Denver's Art District on Santa Fe. On specific Fridays, we join in the First Friday Art Walks to present shorter performances with no admission fee. These performances are a wonderful way to see a glimpse of new choreography that our students are learning.
Students in Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet perform at the end of the Spring Semester in the Black Box Theater at the Armstrong Center for Dance. This performance will take place on May 12, 2018.
