The Summer Intensive curriculum consists of level specific classes in ballet technique, pointe, men’s conditioning and technique, variations, pas de deux, modern, jazz, character, yoga, and Pilates. Lecture classes will include injury prevention, nutrition, dance history, music for dance and Anatomy in Clay©.

  • Suite-style housing is available on the beautiful University of Denver campus.
  • Weekly activities outside the studio provide a well-rounded and positive cultural experience.

"It is very important to us that the students leave with a sense of accomplishment. We feel this is best achieved by placing a high value on their overall progress, and by focusing on the fact that any improvement, no matter how incidental it may seem, is understood for its importance to their continuing development. It is our belief that it is the attention given to the smallest details that provide the greatest results over time."
Amanda McKerrow & John Gardner, Directors, CBA Summer Intensive

“It’s a pleasure to watch young students train with such focus and determination for their futures. Colorado Ballet Summer Intensive nurtures students beyond the classroom into budding professionals.”
