2018/2019 Season Subscriptions are on sale now, just fill out this form and follow the directions. Single tickets will go on sale July 15, 2018. To purchase wheelchair accessible and companion seating for performances remaining in this season, please click on the performance you want, view the seat maps and look for the accessible seating icon. Ellie Caulkins Opera House
The Ellie Caulkins Opera House provides wheelchair accessible and companion seating locations. On-sale date for wheelchair accessible
seats coincide with each event’s public on-sale date. Designated wheelchair accessible seats are available only to persons requesting
such seating on a first-come, first-service basis.
Wheelchair accessible ramps are located throughout the Denver Performing Arts Complex starting curbside at 14th and Curtis streets.
Additional drop-off locations at curbside ramps are located at 13th Street underneath the Arts Complex and outside the Jones Theatre
at the corner of Speer & Arapahoe. Wheelchair ramps are located in the parking garage on levels 3, 4 and 5.
Lobby ushers in each theatre can direct patrons on interior elevators and ramps, which lead to wheelchair seating.
June Swaner Gates Concert Hall at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts
The Newman Center for the Performing Arts is fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs and to those with other special needs.
Colorado Ballet offers audio described performances so that blind and visually impaired patrons can enjoy Colorado Ballet. Patrons utilizing audio described accessibility can receive 20% off tickets to an audio described performance.*
To purchase tickets to an audio described performance, call 303-837-8888 ext. 2 and use promo code AUDIO. Headset for audio description can be obtained from the coat check on the left side of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House lobby prior to the performance.
The Wizard of Oz – February 9th, Saturday Matinee
Patrons who utilize the audio description service at Wizard of Oz performance on Saturday, February 9th can also attend a
free Touch Tour before the performance with their companion or caregiver. This tour introduces elements of the performance by
giving visually impaired patrons an opportunity to hear a description of the sets, feel the props and costumes, and meet some
of the company dancers. To reserve a spot on this tour, please contact our Education Accessibility Coordinator, Bridget Heddens at
