Colorado Ballet's professional Company performs the fall and spring productions as well as The Nutcracker at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. The Company performs its final show of the season at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver. Colorado Ballet also performs smaller productions including Attitude on Santa Fe in its Black Box Theater.
Ellie Caulkins Opera House
The Ellie Caulkins Opera House is a world-class acoustical hall designed in the lyric style, encompasses four levels: the balcony, loge, mezzanine and orchestra. This magnificent space is humidified and provides state-of-the-art technical support as well as acoustical excellence and clean sight lines. The Ellie is one of only three opera houses in the United States, one of nine world-wide, with seatback titling at every seat in the house.

The Ellie is located in the The Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC), the largest performing arts complex under one roof, and the second-largest center of its kind in terms of number of venues and seating capacity. The DPAC is located at at 14th and Curtis Streets.

Colorado Ballet Black Box Theater
Colorado Ballet's Black Box Theater at the Armstrong Center for Dance features 135 seats for a performance and up to 177 seats for a lecture-style event. The Black Box Theater provides an intimate setting to watch Colorado Ballet's dancers perform new works and more during performances including Attitude on Santa Fe, Fancy Footwork and more. The theater is located inside Colorado Ballet's home at 1075 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204.
