From the Page to the Stage – Sensory Friendly Performance

Colorado Ballet Studio Company professional dancers will perform excerpts from ballets based on folk tales and literary classics while moving through the timeline of ballet. The audience will watch as stories and history come to life through the world of ballet! The show will feature brief excerpts from Colorado Ballet’s 2019/2020 productions: Don Quixote, The Nutcracker and Peter Pan.

Theater Adaptations include:

  • Lower sound levels
  • Dimmed house lighting
  • Relaxed house rules allowing patrons to speak, stand up, and walk around
  • A sensory break space in the lobby
